TESTIMONIALS

The SCHWA resource has been a game-changer in our classroom! It has significantly improved our students' understanding of spelling rules and offers engaging stories that are the perfect length for maintaining attention. The vocabulary is well-suited for our upper primary students. I highly recommend SCHWA to any teacher looking to enhance their literacy programme. It's an invaluable tool for supporting student learning and development with the new curriculum. Lisa Geraghty - Waikanae School  Yr 7/8

The resources that I have used so far are amazing. We are just starting our structured literacy journey with our year 5-6 students and they love the structure of the lesson, the vocabulary (especially the Kiwi colloquialism). We love the activities that we can use with the students post reading. Chris Langley - Elmgrove School.

Our Senior Syndicate are really excited to continue using the Schwa resource this year. We look forward to exploring the new shared reading resource! We predominantly used the reading resources, using them to consolidate and practice children's spelling and reading fluency during class time and for home learning. Personally, I would introduce the text to the class on a Monday (reading to them) and on Tuesday-Thursday, the children would read for ten minutes for fluency and accuracy with their reading buddy. During these days we might do some paragraph shrinking with our buddies to practice summarising main ideas and on Fridays they would answer the comprehension questions. It was helpful to see the text type which allowed us to select to align with our writing program. I particularly enjoyed selecting the texts that were New Zealand based. - Jodie Ashby - Te Mata School
